Holistic Creatures was founded by complementary therapist Zelaine Estacio-Odle, whose work has been shaped by years of clinical practice, continuous study, and a deeply personal family journey. What began as a search to improve her son's health has grown into a mission to help others achieve vibrant wellbeing through education, personalised therapies, and carefully formulated natural products.

The Story Behind Pitch Black

The inspiration for our first product came from my own family. As the mother of a son with autism, I spent years trying to understand the factors influencing his wellbeing. Dietary changes helped enormously, but it was through studying Live Blood Analysis that I began to gain a clearer picture of how nutrition could affect his health. As his wellbeing improved, another challenge emerged; his oral health.

Despite maintaining good oral hygiene and following a healthy diet, he began developing cavities. When prescription fluoride toothpaste was recommended, I chose to investigate natural alternatives instead. That decision led me on years of research into oral microbiology, essential oils, traditional herbal medicine, mineral-based ingredients, and the oral health practices used throughout history. The result was Pitch Black Toothpaste, a carefully developed natural toothpaste formulated using ingredients selected for their traditional use and scientific interest in supporting oral hygiene.

Pitch Black represents much more than a toothpaste. It reflects the philosophy that guides everything we do: understand the body, question assumptions, respect nature, and make informed choices.
